The international tender for the selection of technology for the removal of lindane and its isomers from the OHIS’ yard in Skopje was published yesterday and is expected to be open until the 11th of November, informs the Macedonian Ecological Society (MES).
The tender has been published at UNIDO’s official webpage.
The Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning explains that as soon as they receive the offers, a commission will be formed on part of UNIDO consisting of international and national experts, who will be selecting the best offer. This will be followed by preparations for starting the work i.e. securing the necessary documentation, securing the space and preventive measures for the protection of the environment and finally starting with the cleaning.
