For some issues, it is easier to negotiate, others more difficult, the talks will continue either Sunday evening or Monday, when I expect to find a concrete solution for the formation of the SEC and the referendum, said Prime Minister Zoran Zaev after the leaders’ meeting at the MPs Clubhouse.
“Debates surrounding the referendum and the SEC are lengthy, but we are continuing with negotiations. I want to emphasize that the strategic goals of Macedonia and all parties are the EU and NATO. There will be no compromise for strategic goals, there will be no direct or indirect amnesty. We will give dialogue a chance for as long as possible”, said Zaev.
When asked by a journalist, whether an amnesty is a condition demanded by the opposition, Zaev replied he will answer such issues when the leaders’ meeting comes to an end.
