The agreement is favourable because it is a way out of the political crisis and provides steps to fulfill two conditions – the cleansing of the voter lists and minimum regulation of the media, said the SDSM leader Zoran Zaev in Strumica.
“With these two stages, we are expecting more balanced media coverage, and we expect these professional standards to be respected, ethical codes,and not hatred spread by the media in the country, with the ultimate goal – for the citizens to be able to express their free will. At the same time, the process which needs to be completed by the SEC in the next 30 days, will eventually be concluded by the leaders of the four parties,and the final voters’ list for the next parliamentary elections will be ready. This is already something new, something fair, and it completely removes the possibility to abuse potential voters in the electoral process and that further guarantees that citizens can express their free will”, said Zaev.
The leader of the SDSM, Zoran Zaev said that during the whole period they will try and put an end to the historical sufferings and the destruction of vital organs of the state and national interests by Nikola Gruevski and the few around him.
The SDSM leader said that soon in Macedonia, free and democratic elections will take place, in which citizens will show the way in which the country will move in.
