On the 15th of October, the citizens will have a new mission i.e. to vote having free municipalities in Macedonia, stated SDSM’s party leader Zorav Zaev during the party’s central rally in Skopje and has asked the citizens’ support in order to free Macedonia completely from, as he said, from the regime that has ravaged it.
he announced that the “Mercedez” that was bought for former Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski will be returned and the assets from the vehicle in its current value will be used for acquiring emergency vehicles for the clinics in Macedonia.
-Let this be a symbol of the new era where we shall put an end to the wasteful spending and introducing social policies in accordance with the citizens’ needs – said Zaev, who also said that 20 incubators for toddlers were acquired.
The mayor candidate in Skopje, Petre shilegov, has called upon the citizens on the 15th of October to come out and “give a final blow to the regime led by Nikola Gruevski’s gang.”
He promised that in four years, Skopje will become a European green city with more parks through forestation and a special traffic regime on Vodno, gasification of the municipalities that don’t have central heating, obligatory green areas in the parts where a building is happening and bicycle roads.
Activist Nikola Pisarov said that they shouldn’t forget the villages, saying that it is shameful that in the 21st century there are discussions about a certain village to have an asphalted road, street lights or an ambulance.He told the mayoral candidates that when they will become an authority he shall be the stone in their shoes to remind them they should work for the benefit of the citizens.
