Prime Minister Zoran Zaev expects the Parliament to dismiss the Public Prosecutor Marko Zvrlevski even before the local elections and he also said that he believes in the efficiency of the legislative body.
-I expect that to happen even before the MPs’ summer holidays as in the contrary it would seem banal. I think that the procedures are clear. I believe in the Parliament’s efficiency because this efficiency in the decision-making process has moved Macedonia towards its goals. Part of those goals is the return of the independent judiciary as one of the most significant reforms that Macedonia and the Macedonian citizens have set for themselves – said Zaev during the visit of the army training area Krivolak, where the joint military exercise “Guardian Dragon 17” is taking place.
He also stressed that Macedonia’s main goal is a fully fledged membership in NATO and the EU.
-The whole world knows where Macedonia is oriented towards. Once again I shall confirm that we want cooperation with all countries, but our goal is a fully fledged membership in NATO and EU. There is no dilemma. These exercises send a very valuable message about collaborating in the process of providing peace in the world and freedom for all citizens in the world – said Zaev.
