The new Prime Minister, Zoran Zaev, announced today that the handover of the prime minister’s cabinet from the previous acting Prime Minister, Emil Dimitriev, has gone in a friendly ambiance.
-We had talks with the acting Prime Minister, Mr. Emil Dimitriev, and I was introduced with all the necessary details that I will have to be acquainted with immediately, in accordance with the whole protocol. As it is usual, I was informed about the meeting halls, the auxiliary rooms and everything that falls under the Prime Minister’s working surroundings – said Zaev.
He stressed that he was introduced to the situation in the country.
-Of course, it is not great, but it is not dramatic either, that’s what was said. When we are going to investigate the inventory we shall announce everything to the citizens, but I’m glad that the handover was done in a friendly way because it sends a positive message to the citizens regardless of the political circumstances and our conflicting political positions, still everyone realizes that we need each other for the benefit of the citizens, because of the state, because of the reforms. Therefore, congratulations to all the people of Macedonia because of the new government. God gave us the politicians a sense to lead wisely and only for the benefit of the citizens’ interests and God save Macedonia – said Zaev.
