VMRO-DPMNE wants an Inquiry Commission set up for the “Affair Factory”

-

VMRO-DPMNE are asking for a a new inquiry commission to be set up for the case “Affair Factory” confirmed Ilija Dimovski, coordinator of VMRO-DPMNE.

According to the ruling party, this committee should answer questions such as why the Interior Ministry did not react in time and what is the essence of communication between Minister Spasovski and the suspects.

According to VMRO-DPMNE, the draft decision is almost identical to the decision for the commission on the wire-tapping affair.

– We all know that for ten days Macedonia lived in perhaps the greatest political scandal, when a few people found more than 120,000 stolen identities and a huge number of forged identity cards, many forged passports from the Republic of Macedonia, the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Turkey. More than 70,000 wire tapped conversations were found and a whole series of documents that the Public Prosecutor’s Office has confirmed as accurate information”, said Dimovski.

He believes that in this situation Parliament has substantial authority to investigate the case and to prepare documentation based on how to proceed.

The ruling party asked the President of Parliament Trajko Veljanoski, to convene a session that will review the report of the internal instigative control of the DBK. (Administration for Security and Counter Intelligence)
As VMRO-DPMNE have said, their demand is because the President of the Inquiry Commission on the wire-tapping scandal refused to schedule a meeting of the committee, despite the requests of members of VMRO-DPMNE.

The Chairman of the Inquiry Commission, Petre Shilegov, says he has no intention of allowing VMRO-DPMNE to use the Inquiry Commission for their own purposes and has no plans to call a meeting.

“The proposal which VMRO-DPMNE gave us is complete madness because here we are not talking about any affair. In fact, the campaign wants to involve Parliament in the whole situation”, said Shilegov.
