“Zoran Zaev is burdened with the investigation proceedings against him for criminal and illegal conduct, so he continues to work in favor of foreign interests and hopes that someone else will save him from this mess in which he entered with illegal actions,” reads the reaction of VMRO-DPMNE to today’s press conference of the leader of the opposition, on which he published recodings of tapped conversations which, as he said, show how current government officials appointed judges and wrecked the judicial system of the country.
Representatives of the ruling VMRO-DPMNE said that “constructions and creations won’t save Zoran Zaev from himself and his crimes.”
“We want to remind the public of the day in the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia when, by party list of personnel committees of SDSM, were appointed 617 judges and about a hundred more public prosecutors. Let us remind you of Lenche Sofronievska, family Medarski, Karolina Asterud’s mother, Dane Iliev, Branko Naumovski, Liljana Ingilizova and many others who were selected because they were wives, children, godfathers, parents, business partners and party members of SDSM”, reads the reaction of VMRO-DPMNE.
