VMRO-DPMNE and DUI wants to ban all materials from the “Bombs” with a new law

-

The ruling parties DUI and VMRO-DPMNE will propose a bill that will ban all materials published from the intercepted phone conversations. This was said at a press conference in Parliament by Talat Xhaferi, the coordinator of the Parliamentary group, DUI.

As stated by Mr Xhaferi, from DUI, if the bill is passed, anyone caught breaking this new law will be criminally charged.
This law will apply to the media as well, which also means that the re-publication of the “Bombs” will be prohibited and they too will await criminal charges. Also, all media outlets which are online and on the internet, will have to take down anything they have published in connection with the intercepted telephone communications or now known as the “Bombs”.
The law will be adopted in an emergency procedure and will come into force as soon as it is published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia.
Mr Zhaferi said that all parties were in agreement on the law, however, SDSM denied this proposal.
