The opposition party VMRO-DPMNE has issued an appeal to the court not to succumb to threats and pressure that are made regarding the charges that were filed by the Special Public Prosecution against high-ranking party officials and former ministers, among which is VMRO-DPMNE’s party leader and former Prime Minister, Nikola Gruevski.
The party stresses that with the work of the SPO is an “attack on VMRO-DPMNE and is being made with the goal of its political elimination for the purpose of weakening Macedonia and the fulfillment of the plans of the ones who came up with this scenario.”
Otherwise, as announced by the Criminal Court, the decisions of the Criminal Councils will be announced regarding the SPO’s requests for custody of high ranking VMRO-DPMNE officials and former ministers, among which is the party leader and former Prime Minister, Nikola Gruevski.
