When the clock denoted 18h, the President of the Parliament, Talat Xhaferi, stopped the 6th continuation of the session for dismissal of the Public Prosecutor Marko Zvrlevski and has set the next session for Wednesday, starting at 11:00 am.
MPs from VMRO-DPMNE have sent a letter to the State Commission for Preventing Corruption to express their position on whether the session should be continued, since local elections have been called for. Meanwhile, the opposition have asked for several one hour breaks while at Parliament, The opposition requested that, while the Commission respond to the letter,Parliament should put the item for the dismissal of Zvrlevski on standby, and to discuss other items on the agenda.
Xhaferi has said that the Parliament is working in accordance with the Parliament and the Rule book and that the sent request to the Commission for Preventing Corruption is not an obstacle for his duties.
