With the budget review, the Government of North Macedonia will single out 54 million MKD to reward the health workers that are treating the patients infected with COVID-19, informed the Health Ministry.
“The funds will be given to employees at COVID centers in Skopje and the hospitals in the other cities across the country. These 54 million are part of the 243 million MKD that the Government has singled out for the public health care. The remaining funds will be allocated to the acquisition of the Remdesivir medication, vaccines, COVID-19 tests, and the needs of the public health institutions,” stated the press release.
The budget review proposal is in procedure at the Parliament and is expected to be adopted in the forthcoming days. That will instigate the fourth set of measures for supporting the citizens, companies, and the entire economy.
