Stavreski: It wouldn’t be good if everyone would have the same opinions

-

Three hours after the press conference of SDSM leader Zoran Zaev, on which were released audio recordings of conversations between ministers Zoran Stavreski and Gordana Jankulovska, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Stavreski held a press conference, on which he explained for all government successes in the economy.

Regarding the reliability of the audio recordings Zaev published today, Stavreski said he would not comment and will leave the state institutions to do their job.

– Due to the nature of the recordings that are acquired, created and that are illegal, at this stage I cannot comment on something that will have, I believe, a legal resolution. When institutions will do their procedure, there will be an answer to all the facts – said Stavreski.

Stavreski said that the Macedonian economy is not nearing collapse, and is not even in a situation that it cannot handle. He compared the debate led in the government on important economic issues with football and said the most important thing is to get to the result that would be best for the citizens of Macedonia.

– People in the Government have different opinions. Ministers sometimes have different opinions. We all have opinions that we bring to the table, we debate, we exchange arguments, everyone has their own position, everyone gives their arguments. Sometimes that debate can be fierce, sometimes calmer, sometimes it takes days, sometimes last for hours, but in the end only and common of all is that, through a phase of arguments, we choose the best solution for the citizens of Macedonia. Thus, we always dealt matters in the interests of citizens and determine the priorities of the Government. I am convinced that the debate is the only healthy approach to bringing solutions and a leading economic policy. It wouldn’t be good if everyone would have the same opinions. It is good to exchange views, to sometimes have different views – said Stavreski.
