Did the foreign service, which Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski in judicial-investigative part of his last week’s press conference, first suspected as a “master mind” of the tapping scandal, disappeared from the still unwritten indictment for case “Puch”?
In several reports and articles in the media which openly advocated the policies of the ruling party can be seen that the thesis of “foreign services” is abandoned in addition to the new thesis that “everything is Zaev’s work”.
Thus, one of yesterday’s TV stories on this topic was titled “Zoran Zaev is behind the whole tapping operation?”.
“Behind the illegal tapping stands Zoran Zaev in order to forcibly seize power,” says the story.

The public, except for a few stiff opposition, has realized that Zaev is behind the entire operation of illegal tapping, which is of interest only to the opposition and foreign elements. Peak of the hypocrisy is that Zaev directly and deliberately jeopardizes the privacy of citizens from who he demanded and will again demand trust. All evidence collected so far and that MOI and Prosecutor’s Office have available, confirm this,” reads the text.
Well known journalist and editor, in his column dedicated to the wiretapping journalists, says that “according to the only previously established facts, the person who wiretapped is called Zoran Verushevski and his colleagues who are now in custody. They bugged for the needs of SDSM which, through Zaev, announced recordings of those conversations. Provided that the conversations are true.”
Prime Minister Gruevski, at last week’s press conference, citing the ongoing investigation, said:
“ According to the previous information received from the Ministry of Interior, foreign intelligence service, which main collaborator in the country is person Z.V. who developed his own agents network in Macedonia, is behind the tapping. Zoran Zaev is not a key figure here, he’s just a usual tool, kamikaze, the game here is much larger, too large for his comprehension. I am not a person who operates under threats and blackmail, it is unacceptable to the citizens and the state to calculate on the national and state interests. All the facts and circumstances are, and I believe, will be specified in a transparent and objective procedure.”
