The meeting between “High school plenum” and MES ended without an agreement

-

The meeting between representatives of the “High School plenum” and Minister of Education and Science Abdilakim Ademi, his deputy Spiro Ristovski and Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Vladimir Peshevski ended without compromise, but with an agreement negotiations and meetings between the concerned parties to continue. Meanwhile, the boycott of classes will continue, and high school students will spend the night in tents in the park of journalists in front of MES.

– We had a meeting with the Minister Abdilakim Ademi, his deputy Spiro Ristovski and Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Vladimir Peshevski. We discussed on the meeting, but a compromise was not reached at any point of our requirements. We were only assured that we will have a few more meetings, on which we will try to achieve a common solution. At the meeting, demands and arguments were presented from our side, and Ministry of Education presented its arguments. The boycott of classes in schools and camping in the park of journalists continues. We’ll probably hold another meeting tomorrow – says Aleksander Mileski from “High school plenum”.

High school students say that they will be present 24 hours in front of the Ministry of Education, until their demands are met, for which they have the support of parents and teachers.
