SPP: During the search in Batanci, items confiscated may be evidence in Operation “Titanic”

-

During a search at the request of the Special Public Prosecution (SPP) which took place yesterday in the village Batinci, no arrests were made, but items were found and confiscated that may serve as evidence in the proceedings in the case “Titanic”, said today the Office of the Special Prosecutor to “Meta”.

This confirms that the search was part of the investigation on the case “Titanic,” but they do not reveal at whose house the search was conducted.

According to unofficial information, that no one has denied, the search was carried out at the home of Munir Pepik, an employee of the police station Center, who is also one of the suspects in Operation “Titanic”. The SPP had requested that the suspect be taken into custody, however the court denied this request and the decision from the panel of judges was also negative on the appeal from Katica Janeva’s team of prosecutors.
