Apart from filing 17 charges, the Special Prosecution will send requests for taking into custody 18 persons among which is the party leader of VMRO-DPMNE and a former Prime Minister, Nikola Gruevski, the former director of the Administration for Security and Counterintelligence, Sasho Mijalkov, the former ministers of Interior, Culture and Transportation and Communications, Gordana Jankuloska, Elizabeta Kancheska-Milevska and Mile Janakieski.
According to the complete report issued by SPO, custody is being demanded for Gruevski, the former chief of his cabinet, Martin Protuger, the former General Secretary of the Government, Kiril Božinovski as suspects in the “Titanic” case for rigging elections.
Custody was requested for two persons for the “Titanic 3” case, for the Mayor of Gazi Baba, Toni Trajkovski, who is accused in the case of “TNT” for the demolishing the “Kosmos” complex, owned by businessman Fiat Canoski.
Custody is being requested by SPO for the former Minister of Culture, Elizabeta Kancheska – Milevska and another person as suspects in the “Tenders” case.
Custody is requested for the editor of the TV Sitel, Dragan Pavlovic Latas, a suspect in the “Total” case.
The SPO is requesting custody for the former Economic Vice-Premier, Vladimir Peshevski, as a suspect in the “Trajectory” case.
The SPO is requesting custody for Sasho Mijalkov, the former Head of the Administration for Security and Counterintelligence (UBK) and three individuals that are suspects in the “Target” and “Fortress” cases that deal with illegal wiretapping and for the destruction of the UBK’s equipment that was used for the wiretapping.
Apart from the custody requests, the SPO has demanded precautionary measures for another 47 people.
