Spasovski to Dimitriev: With tyranny and chaos, the political crisis has only deepened

-

The Government’s decision to overturn the resolutions made by the Interior Minister from November 11 last year to April 7 of this year is an illegitimate procedure, outside the laws and rules of procedure of Government, said Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski in an open letter to interim Prime Minister Emil Dimitriev.

Spasovski emphasized that the information on which the Government adopted the decision was submitted without his knowledge, and as a minister, the meeting on April 7 was held in his absence.
Spasovski claims that the decisions brought by the Government do not fall within their jurisdiction and therefor can not act on them, only proceedings in the Administrative Court can determine such decisions.

In his letter to Dimitirev he said that the unlawful decisions challenged situations which “negatively affect normal operations of the Ministry of Interior.”

At the end of the letter Spasovski said Dimitriev was elected Prime Minister in order to organize free and fair elections, but instead he has further deepened the political crisis.
