Sela and Gashi call against recognizing DUI’s legitimacy as representatives of the Albanians

-

During yesterday’s “March for Democracy” in Skopje, the coalition of the Alliance of the Albanians (AA) and the Alternative stated that DUI is not the winner at these elections and it has no legitimacy to represent the Albanian nation in North Macedonia.

Both parties’ leaders, Zijadin Sela and Afrim Gasha in their addressing during the march to the EU’s delegation have sent two requests to the EU member countries: to not recognize DUI as representatives of the Albanians and for the process of radical reforms in the Election Code to start.

They consider that through “buying votes, bullying voters, corruption, threatsg, violation of freedom of choice, voting on behalf of absent voters, the misuse of the minutes of Electoral Boaard and other manipulations with the right to vote are signals that the Albanian society is captured by a cast of mobsters.
