“By August 31, all the conditions can be fulfilled that were stipulated in the agreement from July 20 of this year. If there is political will, the decision on August 31 will be for elections”, said the Vice President of SDSM Radmila Sekerinska, in response to a reporter’s question today while in Veles.
“The process that took place in the SEC confirmed that in Macedonia there are many phantom voters, who now are no longer on the voters’ list because those citizens who were not phantom voters registered and are now on the voters’ list. But now the question is who has abused the voters of those 30,000 who now are not present on the list, and who abused the voters of the people in the Diaspora who also have the right to vote, obviously someone else voted on their behalf. We believe that by August 31 all the conditions can be fulfilled that were stipulated in the agreement from July 20 of this year. If there is political will, the decision on August 31 will be for elections. Macedonian citizens have been waiting a long time for this crisis to come to an end, and they have known for a long time that the first step to ending the crisis is fair and democratic elections. If the VMRO-DPMNE and the DUI flee from fair elections again, we are convinced that on August 31 the right decision will be made for Macedonia”, said Sekerinska.
