If the bill banning the publication of the “bombs” is passed in Parliament as law, SDSM will leave the negotiating table, sources told “Meta” from the negotiating process.
Currently, negotiators from the political parties of the working groups who are on a break, facilitator Peter Vanhoutte, US Ambassador Jess Bailey, Head of the EU Delegation in Skopje, Aivo Orav, held bilateral meetings with the political parties urging them to calm down. We have learnt that there is not one issue everyone agrees upon bringing them to a deadlock and have not budged from this standstill. Negotiations are expected to be difficult and demanding and will last into the early hours of the morning.
We have also learnt that the European Union has drafted a bill on electoral rules, which should be presented tonight at a meeting of the working groups.
