They commented the “Przhino Agreement”, but they didn’t clarify

-

Speculation about what was agreed at the leadership meeting held yesterday at the EU residence on Skopje mountain Vodno.

Here are the statements of participants of the meeting at one place:

Zoran Zaev:

“The document contains a good basis that now needs to be followed by all signatories. The document accurately refers to the obligation for the Government which is to organize the following elections. Key whether an agreement would be reached on 10th of June in Brussels is to determine the profile of that government. The attitude of the opposition is known to the public, that any format and composition of government which won’t include Gruevski and creators of the crisis in Macedonia is acceptable. If this is not achieved, SDSM will refuse starting negotiations and will continue with the determined outer institutional actions.”

Nikola Gruevski:

“I would not add anything more to that what was yesterday said by Commissioner Hahn in his statement. I think a maximum constructiveness without speculation, no false forcing or spreading false statements. To pursue and achieve what is important for the country and what it is required by it, stability and security. I urge all who mean well to the country to behave positively and constructively. Our step yesterday is proof and confidence that we believe and we are firmly convinced that citizens will again choose this option rather than the option of destructiveness, of spreading hatred, they won’t choose the option that wants to damage the country for partisan or personal interests of someone to come to power. That option will again be defeated.”

Radmila Shekerinska:

In last night’s show “360 degrees” on “Alsat-M”, SDSM vice-president reiterated that they demand transitional government, which will not include the people involved in the crime shown in the wiretapped conversations. She said that they would continue with the “bombs” and if they fail to agree with Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, they will strengthen outer institutional actions.

Johannes Hahn:

“We had constructive and intensive negotiations with the leaders of VMRO-DPMNE, Nikola Gruevski, SDSM, Zoran Zaev, DUI, Ali Ahmeti and DPA, Menduh Thaci. We again confirmed the country’s Euro-Atlantic perspective. It is important to overcome the current crisis to keep Euro-Atlantic perspective alive. Therefore we agreed on a kind of transition. It was agreed early elections to be held by the end of April next year. It is important for the country to prepare. Furthermore, it is necessary all the recommendations of the EU reports for independence of the judiciary to be accepted. It was also agreed to apply a methodology that we usually use for negotiations on chapters 23 and 24, and it is regarding the rule of law, independence of the judiciary and freedom of the media. All this will be carried out for the further modernization of the country.”
