Red Cross of the Republic of Macedonia distributed humanitarian aid in flooded areas in Bitola, Prilep, Shtip, Kochani, Strumica, and yesterday afternoon in Kichevo and Gostivar as well.
Through mobile lines of T-Mobile, ONE and VIP 070/075/077 143 400, a total of 4683,500 denars were collected up to today, while 741,987 denars were collected to the account of the Solidarity Fund.
300 food packages, 300 packages of hygiene products, 50 pairs of rubber boots and 800 blankets were distributed in Bitola region. 50 packages of food products, 50 packages of hygiene products, 50 pairs of rubber boots and 40 blankets were delivered in Prilep.
In Shtip were distributed 50 packages of food products, 50 packages of hygiene products, 50 pairs of rubber boots and 80 blankets.
25 packages of food products, 50 packages of hygiene, 50 pairs of rubber boots and 40 blankets were delivered to Kochani, while to Strumica were delivered 25 packages of food products, 50 packages of hygiene products, 50 pairs of rubber boots and 40 blankets.
The overflow of Zajashka reka in Kichevo endangered about 70 families who were evacuated yesterday late afternoon. Red Cross of the Republic of Macedonia immediately made an assessment of the needs of the affected population and deliver aid of 70 packages of food products, 70 packages of hygiene products, 150 blankets and drinking water.
Flooded area in Kichevo was visited by the General Secretary of the Red Cross of the Republic of Macedonia, Sait Saiti.
Because of the outpouring of channels in the settlement Banjeshnica, Gostivar, 30 families were flooded. 30 packages of food products, 30 packages of hygiene products and 60 blankets were distributed to them.
