The fifth financial package with financial aid for companies and citizens of North Macedonia is worth €160 million, stressed today Prime Minister Zoran Zaev in a press conference.
The package consists of 29 in four categories: direct financial aid for companies in the areas of tourism, artisanship, hospitality industri, transportation, the event industry so that they can keep people’s jobs, for creating a more favorable business climate, tax relief, and postponement of certain taxes, as well as a direct financial aid for the citizens.
The subsidies for salaries will continue, covering around 60.000 workers monthly, in the span between 14 500 MKD and 21776 MKD.
The companies can use this one or the second measure that will allow loans with zero interest in the areas of tourism, artisanship, hospitality industry event industry, transportation or private health institutions.
The Prime Minister of North Macedonia said that the fifth stimulus package directly adds to the previous four packages of measures and its goal is to move forward the economy. Zaev announced that the support provided by most of these measures will be provided until the end of 2021.
