Peshevski, Samak and Mizo at Business Forum in New York

Economic delegation, led by Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Vladimir Peshevski, comprised of Minister for attracting foreign investments Vele Samak and Director of the Directorate for Technological Industrial Development Zones Viktor Mizo, attended the Business Forum in New York, where the favorable conditions for doing business in the Republic of Macedonia were presented.

During the forum, organized in collaboration with “Forbes” magazine, Deputy Prime Minister Peshevski emphasized the benefits of doing business, pointing out the favorable business climate in the country while referring to the benefits for foreign companies, such as the lowest tax package in Europe and stable macroeconomic environment.

He also referred to the Government’s efforts to strengthen the potential for investment, as well as the ongoing reforms in state institutions, education and infrastructure in order to improve the conditions for doing business and providing for greater development of the Macedonian economy.

Organizing Business Forum in New York, which is one of the major economic centers in the world, according to Peshevski, is essential for attracting new foreign investors in our country, taking into account that US companies have great potential for expansion of its production, and that some of them already have invested in our country.

Minister without portfolio in charge of attracting foreign investment Vele Samak and Director of the Directorate for Technological Industrial Development Zones Viktor Mizo also spoke on the Forum.
