Bulgaria doesn’t have a higher interest than a peace in the Balkans and it strives for a lasting and sustainable peace and good neighborly relations, said the former Bulgarian President, Rosen Plevenliev, when he gave a comment about the development of the Bulgarian-Macedonian relations in the TV show” The day starts” broadcasted on the “Bulgarian National Television.”
Plevenliev, also stressed that he has seriously analyzed the “main thesis” of the opponents of the Agreement between both countries in the debates that are being led in Macedonia, Bulgaria, and Serbia as well.
-The main points are the same. I hold the opinion that they all come from Moscow. Moscow is using every possibility and every means possible to destabilize the EU. The easiest way to do that is through the Balkans. It remains to Bulgarian politicians, regardless of their political parties they belong to, not to discuss the points of one or another political force, but to make a debate at the Parliament about the essence of the Bulgaria’s national strategy – said Plevnevliev.
