Parliament has voted in Kiril Minoski as the new Minister of Finance


With 67 votes “for” and 19 “against”, Parliament today voted in Kiril Minoski as the new Minister of Finance.

Minoski, who was already sworn into office, succeeded Zoran Stavreski, who resigned from office due to health reasons.

The new Minister of Finance was previously the Director of the Public Revenue Office, and before that position, last year he was Director of the State Market Inspectorate.

Minoski after officially taking office stated that his main priority will be to create new jobs, increase economic growth, investments and upgrade the standard of living for citizens.

Before the vote for the new Minister of Finance began, Parliament was occupied with hours of debate and discussion regarding the work of the previous Minister of Finance, Zoran Stavreski and his contribution to the economy in the country during his tenure.
