Community Center for assisting citizens opens

Community Center started working in the Municipality of Centar today. This center is meant to help citizens to actively engage in the work of the local unit. The center is funded by the Foundation Open Society Macedonia and it will employ a team of three who will provide legal assistance or advise citizens to better handle administrative procedures.
The center will be composed of three pillars. The first pillar is focused on the legal and administrative assistance and will offer consulting services, the second is focused on informal education and one of its priorities will be the inclusion of children with disabilities in kindergartens and schools, and the third pillar will offer help to civil initiatives and NGOs. For the third pillar, it was announced that an initiative of the NGO Stop police brutality already received support, and opening of Center for treatment of drug addicts in this municipality will be further supported.
