Obama threatens China with new sanctions

At a press conference held yesterday with Chinese President Xi Jinping, President Barack Obama addressed new threats to impose sanctions on China for an alleged cyber attack that occurred regardless of their previous agreement to prevent such hacking attacks.

“We will introduce at any means necessary to stop these cyber criminals”, said Obama.

Obama pointed out that the agreement reached was progress, but added that the work on the issue was still needed.

Washington and Beijing managed a new agreement while Xi visited and reached new agreements to boost cooperation in defense.

Obama said that Xi agreed to open lines of communications in order to reduce the risk of an occurrence of disagreements between their armies.

“We agreed to expand exchanges and political dialogue between the armed forces at all levels, to hold more joint exercises and training” said Xi Jinping.
