The Ministry of Health of North Macedonia informs that in the last 24 hours 2 006 COVID-19 tests have been performed and 141 new cases of COVID-19 were diagnosed. By cities, the numbers are as follows: Skopje 51 new cases, Kumanovo 19; Debar 2; Shtip 15; Prilep 6; Tetovo 6; Struga 16; Veles 2; Bitola 4; Ohrid 2; Kavadarci 1; Gostivar 2; Gevgelija 1; Radovish 1; Probishtip 2, Makedonski Brod 2; Berovo 1; Vinica 2; Delchevo 1; Sveti Nikole 2; Kichevo 2 and in Negotino 1 new case.
Today, the Institute of Public Health registered 93 recoveries, and the distribution is as follows: Skopje 25; Shtip 33; Prilep 1; Tetovo 10; Veles 2; Bitola 7; Probishtip 1; Demir Hisar 2; Makedonski Brod 1 and Kichevo 11 recoveries.
The number of the deceased is four – two in Skopje (54 and 55 years of age), a woman from Kavadarci, aged 69, and a 70-year old patient from Sveti Nikole (70 years of age.). All of the patients died in hospital.
The total number of COVID-19 diagnosed patients in North Macedonia since the start of the epidemic is 12 653, the number of patients who recovered is 9 123, the number of the deceased is 539, and at the moment the number of active cases in the country is 2 991.
