The Health Ministry of North Macedonia informs that in the past 24 hours 4 598 tests were done and 1 174 new cases of COVID-19 were discovered.
The biggest number of the new cases are from the capital Skopje – 430, and the city with second highest number of infections is Veles, with 81 new cases, followed by Kumanovo with 78 and Prilep and Bitola with 74 new cases each.
In the same 24-hour period, 811 people recovered and 42 patients died. Fifteen of the deceased patients were from Skopje.
The total number of COVID-19 diagnosed cases in North Macedonia since the outbreak of the pandemic is 140 065, the number of the patients who recovered is 113 430 and the death toll is 4 150. The number of the active cases is 22 485.
