NGOs and SDSM will today decide whether to remove the camp

-

Whether the camp in front of the government will be removed will be decided at today’s meeting that SDSM leadership will have with NGOs.

After yesterday’s meeting with the parties in the opposition bloc, SDSM leader Zoran Zaev received the “full support in steps to restore freedom and democracy in Macedonia.”

The meeting was confirmed unanimously that Gruevski had violated the agreement of 2nd of June and that negotiations are unsuccessful. Next week, however, future steps of action of the opposition should be known.

On the other hand, VMRO-DPMNE, after the session of the Executive Committee held yesterday, said that, in the course of negotiations, VMRO-DPMNE made many concessions to compromise and that there is no room for new ones, especially in the organization of the Government.

They say that the change of ministers and the Prime Minister is something that VMRO-DPMNE will not accept.

– In the course of negotiations, VMRO-DPMNE was extremely constructive and made many concessions in the direction of finding a compromise solution to the political situation. In further talks, VMRO-DPMNE has no room for new concessions, especially regarding the organization of the Government which is to prepare the next elections. Second, the behavior of SDSM in the negotiations was irresponsible and with a clear desire for them to fail for at least two goals. The first goal of the SDSM is not to be elections in April 2016, because they realized that they face a heavy defeat. The second goal of SDSM’s is the political crisis to trigger economic crisis, which SDSM sees as their party interest and hope for success – reads the statement of VMRO-DPMNE.
