Milevski meets Dutch PM: Reforms from the Przhino Agreement must continue

The President of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), Goran Milevski, met with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte in Leeuwarden, Netherlands, where they discussed the current political and social crisis “that the ruling party has produced and the efforts of the opposition to establish rule of law and the restoration of democracy in the country “, stated the LDP.

“The Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mr. Rutte discussed in detail with the leader of the LDP Goran Milevski, the views of his country and other the Member States of the European Union related to a resolution of the political crisis in Macedonia. Both welcomed the decision to postpone the elections and the continuation of reforms in the country by implementing the items set out in the Przhino Agreement”, the statement said.

The President of the LDP expressed his gratitude for the support of the Netherlands and other Member States of the European Union who have supported the citizens of Macedonia in their struggle to revoke the shameful pardons by President Ivanov.

Besides meeting with Prime Minister Mark Rutte, within the congress of the ruling Liberal Party VVD, Milevski met with MPs from the Dutch Parliament, such as Han tan Broeke and Anne Mulder, responsible for Foreign Policy and European Affairs and the Minister of Security and Justice, Ard van der Steur.
