SDSM announce new interim Government, the Netherlands warns new Government should be without “people under investigation by the SPO”

-

To hold fair and credible elections, a new interim Government has to be established to implement reforms, announced the Social Democratic Union of Macedonia. Apart from that, the party has yet to disclose whether they’re currently holding talks on the formation of such a government and its format.

SDSM spokesman, Petre Shilegov at today’s press conference said that they had announced that after the resignations of their ministers had been confirmed and the old ministers from the VMRO-DPMNE government were reinstated as new ministers.

“We made that statement at the time when the attempt was made to bring down the Government from the Przhino Agreement, and in order to conceal Gruevski’s crimes,  they will deny everything they have done so far,  and they’ll do the same to this Government”, said Shilegov.

Yesterday the Vice President of the SDSM Damjan Manchevski, at a protest in Veles said that a Government will be formed very quickly which will meet the conditions for fair and democratic elections.

Yesterday, in the statement from the Dutch Embassy in the review of the visit of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands and Director General for European Cooperation, Robert de Groot to the country, was weary of what kind of people would participate in such a Government.

“The participation of persons under investigation by the Special Public Prosecutor in the interim government, or any other political office does not contribute to restoring the confidence of citizens,” the statement said.
