Former Minister of Transport and Communications, is currently being questioning before a judge at the preliminary procedure in the Basic Court Skopje 1.
Journalists waiting outside the court did not notice Mr Janakieski enter the court, but one of our reporters from “Meta” saw Mr Janakieski with his lawyers, including Nikola Dodevski the former Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski’s lawyer waiting before the courtroom where he was going to be questioned.
The judge at the preliminary procedure, after hearing Janakieski, has to decide whether to accept or reject the request from the SPP, and the judge will determine where he will be detained or not.
Earlier, the Mayor of Pustec was at a preliminary hearing, but the judges decision is still unknown.
Today at the Special Prosecutor’s Office and at their press conference, they stated that they had opened official investigations against into former ministers Gordana Jankuloska and Mile Janakieski, and against the Secretary of Government, Kiril Bozinovski, for criminal conspiracy, electoral fraud, violation against the freedom to vote, bribery, and the destruction of electoral materials, and all for forging elections.
