Macedonian Prime Minister’s foreign policy adviser is a candidate for a NATO ambassador

Prime Minister Zoran Zaev’s Foreign Policy Adviser Dane Taleski is a candidate for an ambassador to NATO.

Taleski’s candidacy will be filed by Foreign Affairs Minister Nikola Dimitrov at the government’s session on Thursday.

The NATO’s ambassadorship position was vacant and both Zaev and Dimitrov in the past period spoke that in a period when the country is standing at the doorway of a fully fledged membership in the Alliance, this position is of key importance.

The NATO accession protocol remains to be ratified by the Spanish parliament only.
