The Special Public Prosecution have taken all open cases in connection to the work of the Municipality of Bitola and Mayor Vladimir Taleski who was previously investigated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Bitola. Sources from the Public Prosecutions Office in Bitola confirms that Katica Janeva has not just taken cases connected to the “bombshells” of the opposition concerning the free school transport affair, but everything which is questionable in the work of the local government.
In connection with this information, the Special Prosecutions Office told “Meta” that because of the secrecy of the proceedings, they can not comment on everything which is being investigated.
The Public Prosecution in Bitola have confirmed for “Meta” that the overall operation of Bitola has been transferred into the hands of the Special Public Prosecutor, including the decision to take out a loan worth 2.5 million euros for the infrastructure of the former military barracks, parking zones, bridges and the streets, all in the name of municipal projects.
