Katica Janeva in an interview with TV “News 24” said that she herself put herself forward to be the Special Public Prosecutor and applied for and contacted the “adequate people.” Janeva believes she and her team will have enough capacity to handle the cases that are under their jurisdiction.
“With the election and I was surprised. Personally, I wanted to apply and contacted who I thought were the adequate people and now I’m a little surprised by the selection, but very honored”, said Ms Janeva in her first interview since being named Special Public Prosecutor.
