Special Public Prosecutor Katica Janeva, in an interview with TV “News 24” says she feels no pressure on any subject, and will make decisions together with her team and the public will know how it will be adopted.
“Every word which enters this Special Prosecutor Office will be adequately and legally analyzed, in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Act, specifically the special prosecutor’s office, the Constitution, other laws and international agreements. I expect great international support when discovering new facts. Well, having said that, we will see in time whether the people like it”, said Ms Janeva.
Janeva says that now her priorities lye in choosing her team, and once she assembles the team, within eight days she will take over cases from the institutions and with her team will determine what is in their jurisdiction, and it will return the others to the courts.
About State Prosecutor Marko Zvrlevski she said she has known him since 2009 and that their relationship is purely professional.
Katica Janeva describes herself as a positive person and is not frightened for her and her family because her appointment as Special Prosecutor is of professional orientation.
