Ivanov: It is crucial that a government is formed as quickly as possible

Today, Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov, hosted a traditional working lunch with ambassadors of various countries – members of the Visegrad Group.

The meeting was attended by the ambassadors of Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.

The interlocutors discussed the deepening of cooperation, the current political situation in the country, and the process of integration into the EU and NATO.

“Regarding the political situation, at the meeting it was noted that for Macedonia it is crucial to overcome the political crisis and the early formation of a government who will be committed to the European agenda and economic development, and that will have the capacity to deal with challenges such as migration and security crisis. The ambassadors agreed that it is a necessary step for the country’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration”, said Ivanov’s office.
