Italian astronaut: Buongiorno Skopje, Macedonia!

Italian astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti greeted Macedonian citizen from space this weekend.

Cristoforetti, who on 23rd of November began her six-month mission at the International Space Station, sent greetings via her Twitter profile by posting photography of Skopje from space on Saturday.

“And a beautiful Saturday, Macedonia! Here is how your capital Skopje looks from space this morning. Bongiorno Skopje, Macedonia!” wrote Cristoforetti.

Thirty-seven-year old Cristoforetti is the first Italian woman astronaut. It the past few days, she posted photo greetings from space in the spirit of Christmas.
