The death of a 41-year-old patient who died in the Clinical hospital in Shtip’s Infectious disease ward is being investigated by State Sanitary and Health Inspectors, that at the moment are carrying out an outstanding inspection monitoring concerning this case, informed the Health Ministry.
This follows right after a daughter of the deceased patient reacted on Facebook. She published several photographs where it can be seen that the patient had been requesting to urgently be given oxygen, but as the text reveals, no one was responding to her calls.
“The Director of the Clinical hospital in Shtip, Dr. Alen Georgijev had also requested a complete report to be made about the patient’s treatment. When the inspection ends, the public will be informed about the findings,” informed the Health Ministry.
