We act for the needs and interests of all citizens, to achieve and to promote European standards and the start of the well-deserved negotiations for EU membership, wrote Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski on his Facebook page.
“At yesterday’s meeting, we adopted a plan for new reforms for European integration. Despite current reforms, which we continuously implement, this is a new comprehensive and ambitious plan, which I believe will enable further progress. Plan based on our discussions with the EU and the recommendations of European institutions and experts focused on promoting the rule of law, freedoms, electoral law, fighting crime and corruption. More precisely, with concrete measures, deadlines, holders of projects and goals which are to be met. Engagement of the whole government and engagement of a special team of ministers who will repeatedly meet every week to prepare and implement Euro-reforms. Macedonia has the strength, Macedonia’s place is in the European Union,” wrote Gruevski.
