Past meetings of leaders of political parties for resolving the political crisis and the documents arising from them, as well as meetings with representatives of the international community, have brought some schedule in the activities until early elections in April 2016.
According to it, the following dates and deadlines are certain:
- On 29th of June
Leadership meeting at which the parties will try to find common ground for a transitional government. This was agreed on 19th of June at the presentation of the report by Reinhard Priebe.
- July session of the EU
It is expected detailed and concrete reform proposals that are planned to be implemented next month to be presented.
- End of August
Meeting facilitated by the EU for all political parties represented in the Assembly, on which they should reach an agreement to resolve the structural reforms in the areas of chapters 23 and 24.
- October
Regular session of the EU Council and presentation of the annual progress report for Macedonia.
- November
Reports from parliamentary committees provided for in the agreement of 2nd of June and which is supposed to be led by SDSM (parliamentary committee established for the wiretapping scandal, commissions for detection and intervention in communications).
All these dates and deadlines may become invalid if the leaders do not agree on a transitional government this Monday (29th of June).
Remains uncertain:
- When and if SDSM will returned to the Assembly;
- When and if the Prime Minister will resign;
- In which order the reforms included in the agreement of 2nd of June will implement and will we implement them ourselves, or it will be mediated by the international community and
- Precise date for elections (when and if in April?).
