I did not authorize any of the candidates for president of VMRO-DPMNE to invoke my alleged and exclusive support, for collecting signatures for support or voting, stated Nikola Gruevski who just recently resigned as VMRO-DPMNE leader.
On his official Facebook page, he sent eight messages to candidates and potential candidates of the party and delegates of the Congress which will be held on December 22nd and 23rd.
Gruevski says that each of the candidates should receive the same treatment, fairly and with an equal chance of representation, and emphasizes that there should be no privilege for those who are in higher party functions.
He warns candidates who are in higher party functions not to abuse the party’s infrastructure, logistics, or use the official hierarchically for their personal campaigns.
In the end Gruevski adds that one those who act contrary to these recommendations and remarks, are violating the reputation of the party and competitors of the party, and they are not worthy of being the president of VMRO-DPMNE and delegates should take this into account.
