“Macedonia is exposed to fierce attack. We were quiet, but enough is enough, time to respond,” said VMRO-DPMNE leader and Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski at tonight’s big gathering on Skopje square Pela.

– Now we are faced with the temptation to clash between ourselves – Gruevski said, interrupted by applause.

According to him, “dictatorship of the political minority is what is currently happening to Macedonia.”

– Macedonia won’t surrender, Macedonia is strong! That is responsible for SDSM. No retreat, no bowing, no surrender! Macedonia is a strong, decisive and Macedonia wins again – said Gruevski and added that “he will not allow us to become enemies to each other.”

According to him, we do not need democrats who three years ago had attempted violent seizure of the Assembly.

– What would happen if this crew of frustrated people came to power – asked Gruevski.

He spoke about the mistakes and omissions which he feels that will be corrected and that they will come out stronger from all of this.

– If it was not for this attack, we would have had to invent it, because it will strengthen us – said Gruevski.

Jankuloska, Janakieski and Mijalkov, although without any proven guilt, decided to withdraw, said the leader of the governing party and stressed that VMRO-DPMNE and the coalition have already prepared a “package addressing all sectors where there are located remarks”.

– We have a real plan. We will not let Zaev and his screenwriters to take us down although the atmosphere, psychological state, fueled by Zaev’s statements, has already begun causing problem to Macedonia, in particularly, in the part of orders and foreign investors.

Speaking about the name dispute with Greece, he stressed that “he will not accept ideas and suggestions that will undermine the Macedonian national identity and language.” As a responsible party, Gruevski said, VMRO-DPMNE will not allow any solution to be adopted without a referendum. “We will continue talks with Greece, but with a minimum will from the southern neighbor,” added the Prime Minister.

Regarding the current crisis, Gruevski said he would follow talks between the parties, but will not allow a decision contrary to the will of the citizens.

– Macedonia is a European country, Macedonia is strong – said Gruevski at the end of his address.

The big national gathering of VMRO-DPMNE started with the shouts “Nikola, Nikola” and the Macedonian anthem, sung by pop singer Kaliopi.

After the anthem, there was a minute of silence to honor the police officers killed in Kumanovo.
