It is possible that Greek farmers today intend to block the border crossing at Dojran from 11:00-13:00 Macedonian time.
According to announcements from the farmers, from the area surrounding Kilkis, they plan either to block the motorway Thessaloniki – Petrich, or block the border crossing Dojran – Dojrani.

In the area of Kilkis, farmers have gathered 450 tractors and a large number of farmers, who are alternately block various parts of the motorways to Bulgaria and Macedonia. There has been no announcement of a blockade on the border crossing ‘Bogorodica’, however the possibility has not been excluded. Blockades are from 12:00 to 14:00 and from 19:00 to 21:00 local time.

Tomorrow, farmers from all across Greece will gather for a meeting in Thessaloniki, where they will decide on the next steps of their protests. However, the question here is whether the idea to meet with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras remains, as statements from the Greek Government do not not inspire optimism in changing or withdrawing the new law on health and pension insurance, which is the farmers main demand and where they draw the line.
