Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva and members of her team recently visited Bitola in connection with the investigation their Office is looking into concerning the Mayor of Bitola, Vladimir Taleski, “Meta” has learnt.
The prosecution confirmed to us that members of Janeva’s team had visited Bitola, but would not comment on whether Katica Janeva was with them.
“It is correct that members from the SPP (Special Public Prosecution) visited Bitola. The visit was for investigative purposes and was necessary for preliminary proceedings conducted before the Public Prosecution,” said the response from the SPP to our question: “Is it true that Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva, visited Bitola and if so, why? Is it connected to the Special Public Prosecution’s investigation into Mayor Vladimir Taleski? ”
According to our information, the Special Public Prosecutor has taken all open cases about the workings of the Municipality of Bitola, and Mayor Vladimir Taleski, and not just those which arose from the opposition’s “bomb” concerning the free school transport affair.
