At its yesterday’s session, the government decided to conduct a public interest campaign for the referendum based on the principles of objectivity, transparency and accountability, informs the government press service.
Government Advisor for Euro-Atlantic Integrations Bojan Maricic announced that after the summer holidays the campaign will intensify and all available methods will be used in accordance with the Law on Referendums and defined public interest.
According to the Government, the campaign will be conducted in accordance with public communications standards of public interest, relevance, objectivity and informative communication, non-party communications, as well as proportionality and rationality.
Yesterday, ministries and other state administration bodies, were charged by the Government, within three days, to provide information to the Ministry of Finance on the funds they have available, which could be redeemed for the referendum campaign.
