EU threatens Greece with exclusion from the Schengen zone

-

After threatening to leave the euro zone, Greece is facing warnings and threats of a possible exit of the Schengen zone. These Greek newspapers “Kathimerini” and “Proto Thema”, reported that the Member States of the European Union (EU) have already began sending serious warnings to Greece that if it does not implement the refugee crisis measures agreed upon the EU summit, they may face exclusion from the Schengen Agreement.
Citing diplomatic sources in Brussels, “Kathimerini” indicates that in the EU there is great dissatisfaction about the attitude Greece has to the refugee crisis and to the agreed measures.

Reportedly, the meeting last Friday, the representative of Luxembourg indicated that Greece does not respect the October contract which is the enforcement in the countries of the Western Balkan agreed upon in Brussels.

Problems in Greece say shelters for refugees, especially the Centre on the Island of Lesbos, do not work or function, and the refusal of 400 representatives from Frontex sent to strengthen the transport to the border with Macedonia and help secure it. Greece rejected help from Frontex, the paper comes with an explanation that their office would not only be recording dadta for the refugees.
